Recording studio into 8, 1 bed flats at Wellington Road in Stockport.

Contract included all building works, supply and fit kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, flooring, decorating, all electrics, car park. 

 

18 weeks start to finish

Eco-friendly extension: Removal of rear of house and extended with cubic glass. We supplied and installed the kitchen, electrics, plumbing and underfloor heating. (Build and render)

New build in Haslington

Conversion into flats:

Start: 18th century weavers cottages in very poor state of repair, and very damp. Project: Lath and plaster ceilings taken down throughout three stories, back to brick on all three stories. Make three flats with sound proofing insulation; new windows; full plaster; all heating, plumbing and electrics; bathroom and kitchen fitting; tiling, painting, decorating and flooring.

Project: to build a two-story extension with a single-story side extension and loft conversion to garage. This included: Knocking out walls in the house; new heating system including underfloor heating throughout the ground floor; new doors throughout; all tiling; bathrooms changed; first and second fit and tile; decorating inside and out of the whole house and garage; full landscaping including removal of driveway; land drains; flagging; fencing and new garden areas.

Project: Remove internal walls; remove chimney over three floors; build orangery; new plumbing throughout including underfloor heating; full re-wire; supply kitchen; decorate.

This project required us to: strip out kitchen; take out internal walls; build extension making sure the cladding exactly lines up with existing brickwork; (It did but the house wall was slightly out so we agreed on a happy medium); supply and fit bi-fold doors and fixed frame windows; flat rubber coated roof with internal gutters;  clad overhang with powder coated aluminium fascias and colour matched to doors;  all electrics;  fit underfloor heating and put in plumbing for kitchen; internal tiling and decoration, fit internal sliding door.

Project: remove and dispose of existing conservatory;  put existing decking to one side for reuse; remove internal walls; build new orangery with flat fibreglass roof and PVC edge; supply and fit bi-fold; supply and fit lantern; all electrics, plumbing, tiling, and decoration; tidy garden; refit decking.

Project: Build orangery to gable end of house with a flat fibreglass roof and stone capping; supply and fit bi-fold doors to all three elevation; build conservatories to back of house with glass aluminium roof; supply and fit oak porch; underfloor heating throughout; knock through to existing house; fit internal bi-fold doors; board and plaster; decorate; put in flooring.

Project: Strip out existing stables and dig out reinforced concrete stable floor; underpin walls as appropriate; prop roof to enable removal of existing front wall with a roof weight of two and a half tons on each propping point; remove internal stable wall to allow for leisure suite; build new external wall in rendered blockwork; supply and fit aluminium windows and timber external door; build swimming pool to engineer's directions; build a plant room externally; install pool lining, water purifier and heating equipment; supply and fit sauna; supply and fit shower area; all electrics, plumbing, tiling and decorating.

Remove existing kitchen; remove windows at side of house; knock opening into wall of aged coach house; build up piers to take enormous steel supports; supply and fit aluminium coated bifold doors; plaster; flag externally; tile kitchen and all internal cabinetry.
